The Spring Box

We’re going back to the beginning…

Five years ago this week, a passion project intended to support all things Peterborough & The Kawarthas was launched. 

It took the shape of a seasonal subscription box - a carefully curated (surprise) collection - that was delivered to your doorstep. It had a charitable component and $5 from every box sold was gifted to a local not-for-profit organization. 

As many of you will recall, this passion project was the very beginning of Living Local, and the foundation for what has now become a burgeoning business and a community of hundreds of makers and supporters locally, regionally, provincially, and across Canada. 

At a time when living local has never been more important (and yes, I wrote those words in April 2020 and yes, I believe them to be even more relevant today), we continue our commitment to those who live, work and create right here at home. 

In celebration of five years of Living Local, we’re going to back to the beginning with a one-of-a-kind offering. The Spring Box - a surprise - will feature offerings from six makers from the City and County Of Peterborough. A little bit sweet, a little bit savoury, and ever so slightly scented, this box features tried-and-true favourites that are sure to be enjoyed! And just like our first-ever box, this one will be ready in time for Mother's Day and $5 from every one purchased will be gifted to the YWCA Peterborough Haliburton.

The Spring Box can be preordered here and will be ready for pick up, hand-delivery in the City Of Peterborough, or shipping on Saturday, May 3.
